As webcomic authors and artists, it is important to have a community in which one can share their work, find critiques, be backed up in case of emergencies, and even share readers. As readers, these communities benefit you by providing an easy means to access dedicated webcomics whose creators care about doing their best work, growing as artists and writers, and providing you with other comics we admire, are inspired by, and think you should check out.
As one of these online communities, Off The Wall Comics is a small but growing collective of self-proclaimed “weird” webcomics made by possibly weirder people. The dropdown was started in March of 2008 as a dropdown for ComicGenesis comics who didn’t have a dropdown for the weird/surreal category and has continued to grow and expand since then by adding more comics, moving outside of the CG-only realm, renovating the homepage, going to a more community style setup, and looking to add other services (such as forums, better rss feeds, etc) which will help readers and creators to connect on an even higher level.
